This is one of the best wrestling Games out there for the Super Nintendo. What keeps this game from deserving the excellent score of 5 out of 5, is the fact that there are only 10 Wrestlers (2 Of them are not playable in single action mode), and Gunloc & Biff have almost the same wrestling moves. I think the developers became bored trying to think of new moves. What also brings this game down is there are no save features. What keeps this game deserving a 4 out of 5 is there are a lot of wrestling moves to use. Once you beat the game, you will see one of two different cut sceenes. It all depends on how good you played the game. There are weapons outside of the ring most of the time. When a wrestler throws another wrestler into the barracade, sometimes a beer bottle flys out, and if you are not so quick you will get hit by it. They didn't use actual wrestlers for this game, but they gave each one a background. Some of the wrestlers have submission moves, other have suplex pin moves, and one of them has both (Grater) After your oppenets metter is completly empty, the match doesn't end, until you pin or make them submit, or get a count out. I liked this feature, because you can unleash as much punishment as you choose. If you are a Final Fight Game (Mike Hagger) or Street Fighter, or just plain wrestling, please pick this game up. You will not be disapointed. I hope most of you people who read this review found it helpful, and thanks for taking the time to read. robertq2000 (Quail Tech)Read full review
Saturday Night Slam Masters is one of the best wrestling games for the SNES, Unlike today's wrestling games like Smackdown vs Raw this game let's you play a tag team battle royal where and your partner fight the tag team your up again st. Mike Haggar from Final Fight is in the game and he has the same moves as Zangie f does in Street Fighter, I'm hoping that Capcom will have Haggar and Zangief fight eachother. Two characters that don't appear in the single match mode are Jumbo Flap Jack and Scorpion they are the last two opponents you face in the single match mode but they can bed used in tag team battle royal mode. This game remains as one of the best wrestling games to ever come out on the SNES I don't know why Capcom did not put it on there classic collection cause that would be great. The designer of the game is none other than Hara Tetsuo creator of the Fist of the North Star manga.Read full review
